2017 Honda CR-V Rutland VT

Just a couple of years ago, the Honda CR-V was significantly updated with several aesthetic enhancements and other upgrades both inside and out. Now, the all-new 2017 Honda CR-V in Rutland VT is entering a new generation, the vehicle’s fifth since it was introduced in 1995.

Once again undergoing aesthetic enhancements, as well as receiving a brand-new powertrain, new chassis technology, and updates in the cabin that make it more premium, spacious and technologically advanced than ever before, we believe the new CR-V will have what it takes to repeat this feat. But we won’t know until around this time next year, as the CR-V wasn’t introduced until after 2017 Motor Trend testing began.

What's new in the 2017 Honda CR-V?

The most noticeable differences found in the all-new 2017 Honda CR-V are without a doubt the cosmetic enhancements to the exterior. A brand-new front end, longer wheelbase, shorter rear overhang and the addition of a dual exhaust system all give the new compact crossover a more aggressive air of sophistication and athleticism. But the exterior design cues aren’t the only changes found in the SUV, as the CR-V also received a new powertrain.

For starters, it received its very first turbocharged option, in the form of a 1.5L 4-cylinder engine. While fuel economy ratings have yet to bed released by the EPA, the new turbo engine will offer 190 horsepower. Its standard 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, on the other hand, will only offer 185 horses and likely be less efficient.

If these changes and some of the other new features, plus all of the old features that have made the CR-V a force to be reckoned with in the compact crossover segment for years, make a vehicle that you might be interested in, be sure to schedule an early test drive right here on our website or by calling us at the sales desk.
